6. The Agreement will improve reproductive health provisions.

Principles of Claim

  1. Increase leave entitlement to 12 days per year.T his aligns with the monthly nature of many reproductive health conditions, external benchmarks and emerging national standards.

  2. Remove the requirement to exhaust all other leave prior to being able to access reproductive leave. This ensures genuine accessibility for this type of leave and preserves other types of leave for their intended purpose.  

  3. Remove documentation requirements for reproductive leave.
