• All additional workplace responsibilities are provided appropriate allowances which reflect the additional challenges & duties of these roles. ​

• Inclusions will extend to:​

  • Health and Safety Representatives​

  • Emergency Wardens​

  • Harassment and Workplace Support Officers​

  • Mental Health First Aid Officers​

• Adjustment of quantum of allowances to reflect sector standards.

Management Response

• The bargaining team presented this claim to management on 5/4/26. Management briefly responded to suggest they would include allowances for First Aid Officers that also had Mental Health First Aid qualification. No substantive response otherwise, but a sentiment of Mental Health First Aid as an additional qualification that people get as a "citizenship goal".
